My first demo! A survival game with ~5 min of gameplay right now, made this in 10 days with flipped assets.

SHIFT & CTRL to dodge
MOUSE for sword & shield

I consider this the fundation for a way larger game, so I'd like any harsh critisism considering game design choices I've made, or recommendation on things I should add.

WHAT THE GAME DON'T HAVE YET:
Options, achievements, SFX, a level up system, only 1 level that doesn't have a boss.

i like the cadence of the sword swings, and how you can pause mid combo and the sprite will stay in the "ready" pose for that part of the combat.  feels good, nice!

i like the sprite we play as :) maybe you could add jumping or different weapons/ charater customization?

Feels quite good, though perhaps some impact sound when hitting different enemies depending on them, but I bet you've already thought of that.  Everything visually seems to fit together well and combat feels impactful enough without the sfx.
